I’ve recently returned to the classroom after a wonderful hiatus as a home-based mom and child development/personal growth consultant to early childhood teachers, child care providers, parents, and various community groups. I'm a graduate of Dr. Martin Luther College (currently Martin Luther College) in New Ulm, MN, certified as an Infant/Toddler Training Intensive (ITTI) mentor trainer through FarWest Labratories of California, and am licensed to teach grades 1-8 in the state of Minnesota. |
My fantastic husband, Dale, and three amazing TEENAGERS, Lauren, Becca, and Joshua, help keep me focused, grounded, and appreciative of the wonderful blessings in my life. Our chocolate Labrador, Daisy, does her best to remind us that there are lots more things to wag our tails about in life than to growl about.
If I could track down some spare time, I’d love to curl up with a good book, take a trip to South Carolina (I’ve never been there), or maybe make a return to community theater. Of course, I should really do battle with the dust bunnies who’ve taken up residence in our home, but I think most of them can settle in safely for now.
